The Visit

 

A human presence, fleeting, evanescent and yet there. Sliding on a piece of furniture, capturing space, touching an armrest, the grass, a tile, in a play of appearance and disappearance.
Emmanuelle Blanc’s eye on Alvar Aalto’s architecture is that of an architect, a landscape designer and a photographer, knowing his work and intimate with the place.
Over the seasons, the body of the dancer, ève Girardot, evolves with an acute awareness of space in a dialogue with the place, giving life to objects and the environment.
Under Camille Delafon’s electroacoustic music, the concrete and suggested, the simple and magical, in the Finnish master’s architecture are revealed in a poetic, subtle and luminous manner.
